I am Michelle. I am fifty-two. I live outside Dayton with my husband Rob and a dog named Gus who is not as smart as we tell people he is. Our daughter Emma is twenty-three and lives in Columbus now, which she will tell you is very far away and it is an hour and ten minutes.

I started putting things here in January because I had a lot in my head and nowhere to put it, and because my friend Rosalind said that if I told her the thing about the school parking lot one more time she was going to start charging me.

I am not a writer. I work in scheduling for a group of dental practices, which is exactly as interesting as it sounds. I write here when I have something worth saying, which is not often, so if you have found this place and there are four posts on it, that is not neglect. That is the rate.
